Edinburgh really wasn’t on my radar. It’s not London, Paris, Rome, or one of the other European heavy hitters that seems to make everyone’s list. But somehow a picture of the stunning Scott Monument found its way into my feed, and I started down the fascinating—and strikingly attractive—rabbit hole that is Edinburgh. Soon after, I was on a plane.
