
Four Days in Amsterdam: A Slow Burn With a Side of Fries
Some cities sweep you off your feet. Others follow you home. As always, I did tons of research before my trip to Amsterdam. I knew it was flat and full of canals, boats and bikes. I knew it had a compelling history, more bikes than people and some of the world's great museums. I knew about the Red Light District, the frites that break the internet, and the long lines outside a shop that sells exactly one kind of cookie.
